International Student Ministry has many events and getaways throughout the year. Check out our photo gallery and see what kind of group we are. Then join us on some of our future events and see your picture up here too!! Looking forward to seeing you.

ISM hosted a food festival were students can show off their cooking talents and where we can all enjoy eating a variety of tasty treats from all over the world. Yum. We had a vote to choose the tastiest treat and hands down, it was the stuffed mushrooms made by Jenny, Jade, Sherry, Helen, and Siao Charn.

Last Friday, we had a special talk from Dr. John Lee who spoke about faith and being a Christian in graduate school. Afterwards we went to Golf Land and played miniature golf, a favorite suburban pastime. After an intense game, we just decided to take pictures with the miniature buildings. Everyone who went had lots of fun. We hope that you can join us next time.

After one Friday Forum, we drove to the city to eat ice cream at the world famous Ghirardelli Ice Creamery. Their signature dish is the "Earthquake"- 8 scoops of ice cream and toppings such as fudge, caramel, strawberry, almonds, whipped cream and more. We eagerly ate our ice cream before it melted. It was total devastation.

Monterey is well known for its beatiful beaches and scenic hiking trails. In fact, it has even been called the "greatest meeting of land, sea and sky." So it made sense that we went there for our Labor Day Holiday.
We went hiking along a scenic trail that overlooks the endlessly blue Pacific Ocean, and took some photos. Okay, LOTS of photos. We wrapped up our hike with some football and frisbee on the beach. (and got wet in the water a little too) We ended the day with delicious dinners at various places: Korean tofu houses and Sweet Tomatoes (healthy buffet).
Check out the photos, but be warned: you won't want to miss our next trip to Monterey if you do!

GSWN was the biggest event of the year! We started with a delicious BBQ dinner, followed by some great music, a fun video, and a thought-provoking message. Did we forget to mention that we had a LOT of fun in the process?
And in case you were wondering what ice breakers we played, the funniest one was called "table boxing". Imagine trying to open a gift wrapped box while wearing oven mitts. If you can't, then you can see why this game was hilarious. Many people fumbled with their boxes for a long time.
If you missed GSWN, don't worry. You can check out the pictures... and if you still want to know more about ISM, feel free to check out our weekly Bible studies! We still have great food, music, and a thought provoking message there too.
